Dallas County compiled a list of zip codes that led to the first 3,000 people to be vaccinated at the COVID-19 Vaccine Center in Dallas Fair Park.
There has been criticism from Dallas County Commissioner John Wiley Price and Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson that more minorities had not been vaccinated at the sites.
Since Saturday, Jan. 15, Zip Code 75230 (Walnut Hill area of North Dallas) has seen most people get vaccinated in Fair Park. He was followed by 75225 (University Park). The third most served zip code population was 75248 (Far North Dallas, near Addison).
There has been an outreach effort in minority neighborhoods and south of Dallas to encourage vaccine registration.
