MEXICO CITY.- One day before Donald Trump leaves the White House, the Mexican peso is at its best against the dollar of the last ten months.
The exchange rate stood at 19.60 pesos per dollar this morning, implying an appreciation of the Mexican currency of 0.5% or nine cents relative to Monday, as well as its best position since March 2020, quotes show the Bloomberg agency wholesale.
In CitiBanamex windows, the dollar opened at 20.07 pesos per unit, 12 cents less than yesterday.
