Genshin impact Developer miHoYo today shared a developer discussion covering a variety of topics, but most importantly, it includes some details about an update to the title’s original resin system. In short, as of version 1.3, the amount of original resin that players have access to should increase dramatically thanks to two specific changes. It’s not a total fix in any way, but it is.
If you are somehow unfamiliar, the original resin system is basically the main resource closed by time Genshin impact. It cools down over time, but there is a maximum amount that any player can contain at once, and historically most, if not all, of the final content of the game, such as Ley Line Outcrops, Domains, and various events, have consumed a lot. As you can imagine, this has been a point of frustration for many. But with the new update, basically, only Ley Line outcrops and domains will cost the original resin in the future.

The developer’s response says in part, “All version 1.3 events that do not require Ley Line domains or outcrops will not consume original resin.” “The vast majority of large-scale events in future versions will also not consume original resin. “.
“Our BP will be adjusted from version 1.3 onwards for additional fragile resin rewards,” the response continues. Fragile resin is essentially a way to restore the original resin. “The Sojourner Battle Pass and the Gnostic Hymn will get fragile resin × 1 for every 10 levels, starting at level 5, replacing the mystical enhancement minerals that were originally there. This will not change the total amount of mystical enhancement ore. obtained through BP. These mystics Enhancing minerals will be distributed among other levels. “
