The order, issued early Wednesday along with a crowd of pardons for former campaign and White House officials, nullifies an ethical promise made by all members of his administration that would have forced them to comply with a cooling-off period of five years before committing to pressure services.
“Employees and former employees subject to the commitments of Executive Order 13770 will not be subject to these commitments after noon on January 20, 2021,” the order says.

Bannon has been charged with bank fraud and other financial crimes.
“Mr Bannon has been a major leader of the Conservative movement and is known for his political insight,” the White House said in issuing his pardon.
Trump is scheduled to speak Wednesday morning before leaving Washington, DC for Florida. He will not attend the opening of Biden at noon.
