Zelda: Breath of the Wild Mod improves Link’s house to “a worthwhile purchase”

Waikuteru, Zelda fan and modder, returns to play with another modification for the popular Switch title Breath of the Wild.

After the restoration of the unused ‘Dungeon136’ sanctuary, they have now decided to ‘re-imagine’ what it is like to own a house at stake. If you’ve played Breath of the Wild, you’ll know how to save some supplies and rupees for Link’s house. Apparently, this modification makes an extra effort, as it makes it “a worthwhile purchase.”

“Outside the village of Hateno there is a cozy cottage that can be bought and become the owner of a house. In the base game, the house has little purpose beyond being a place to store equipment (and complete a quest) . “

“This modification re-imagines owning a home in BOTW to turn it into a worthwhile purchase (something you’ll want to use regularly) all the time, while maintaining the original feel and balance of the game.”

To achieve this, Waikuteru has enhanced the house experience with a quick travel point, a hot fire to prepare meals, a bed, which now allows Link to “sleep a lot” to recover three extra hearts, and even there are all paintings with art concepts from the developers.

To top it off, there is “extra lighting and tasteful decorations” and Link gets his own personal pet (a chicken). There is also the possibility of fishing in the nearby pond to search for the low Hylian and store your trusty steed in a stable.
