With Kevin Durant, James Harden and Kyrie Irving, Nets fall to the Cavaliers

Kyrie Irving returned after a two-week hiatus to score 37 points in the Brooklyn Nets ’147-135 double-overtime loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Irving played 48 minutes and made 15 of 28 field goal attempts. At the end of the game the 37 units added two rebounds and three assists.

Before the game, coach Steve Nash declined to say how many minutes he aimed to play the point guard, but said he will have a “full focus approach” for Irving’s playing time.

Kevin Durant ended up scoring 38 points, 8 assists and 12 assists, while James Harden finished the night with a triple-double of 21 units, 12 assists and 10 assists.

During time off for personal reasons, the League fined Irving for violating health and safety protocols and attending what appeared to be a family birthday party. He also lost more than $ 800,000 in salary for the two games he lost while in quarantine.

Irving is averaging 27.1 points, 5.3 rebounds and 6.1 assists in seven games this season.
