The 52-year-old founder, Every Mother Counts, who has 1.2 million social media followers, captioned her inaugural Day moment with a quote from the late Martin Luther King Jr.

It was Evangelista, 55, who famously told Vogue in 1990, “We have that expression, Christy and I. We don’t wake up for less than $ 10,000 a day.”

The 17-year-old couple starred in Calvin Klein’s last fall campaign for Eternity, a fragrance that Turlington faced when it was originally released in 1988.
