Fortnite it’s a pretty major issue, which wins developer and publisher Epic Games somewhere nearby infinite money every month thanks to premium skins and a new $ 12 subscription service (Fortnite it’s a “free” video game, clearly), but Epic will now do something with all that money that doesn’t involve funding announcements of strange and deafening attacks against Apple. As reported Limit date, the company supports an animated film from Latin American animation studio Hook Up and Argentine producers DuermeVela and FilmSharks through their $ 100 million Epic MegaGrants program. More than one Fortnite movie about the banana boy and Travis Scott (the two most famous Fortnite characters) who fight an army of teenagers who are much better at the game than they are, however, the project will actually be an original film based on The Epic of Gilgamesh. The film is just one of the recipients of the considerable grant.
Limit date says the film will be released in Spanish and English and will be made with Epic’s Unreal Engine, so don’t be surprised if it looks a bit Fortnite, But The Mandalorian it also famously uses Unreal Engine to power its virtual sets. For those unfamiliar with the story of Gilgamesh, he was a figure in Mesopotamian mythology with a large beard who carried out various heroic adventures, and his story served as inspiration for other mythological tales in history ( like the Iliad i Odyssey).
It’s not known when this may happen or whether or not this movie will be available on Apple devices, but you’ll know it will arrive when a Gilgamesh face appears on Fortnite.
