It looks like the Pokémon company is preparing to set the law (again) with what has been described as a new wave of bans.
According to Serebii.net, naughty users of Sword and Shield Pokémon i Pokémon HOME are the goals, with some players warned to use “modified data”, while others cause problems in affecting the functions of games and applications for others users.
Players with modified saved data will be banned from using commercial features and will no longer have access to HOME. It follows an agreement in the Terms of Service that prohibits the modification of stored data.
Modifying saved data, for example, may include adding Pokémon to the game that you haven’t actually captured.
The bans can be temporary or permanent and The Pokémon Company plans to take the same line of action in the future. It will also implement more measures if necessary.
It’s also not the first time he’s done something like this. Previously, it was forbidden to ban players who were deliberately disconnecting from online battles.
