A municipal employee suffers a 30-foot fall from an uncovered sewer in Sant Llorenç

An employee of the municipality of Sant Llorenç is in a state of care after suffering a fall of about 30 feet in height from a sewer, at about 04:15 in the morning, on street 4 of the Ciutat Masso urbanization.

In a press release, the police have reported that the 64-year-old man works for the Public Works Department of the said municipality.

According to the complaint, while the employee was working on garbage collection, “he did not notice a sewer that did not have the safety cover falling inside it, which has a height of approximately 30 feet “.

The victim was transported by Aeromed air ambulance to the Pedres River Medical Center.

Agent Damaris Claudi, attached to the Sant Llorenç district, took charge of the investigation.
