Casey Affleck has commented on his brother Ben Affleck’s breakup with Ana de Armas and has confirmed that he was not the mysterious man who was seen throwing the actress’ cardboard scraps.
“No, it’s not me, and I can’t even say if they’ve broken up for good or whatever. I would let them talk, ”Casey, 45, told Entertainment Tonight.
“A lot of people sent me this photo and I was going to tweet something like, joke, answer or something like that. And then I couldn’t think of any and a joke didn’t seem appropriate. And I don’t have Twitter , so it wouldn’t work. But it definitely wasn’t me. “
Photos of two men in masks and hats throwing the clippings went viral shortly after news broke that Ben, 48, and de Armas, 32, had split up after nearly a year of dating.
A source told Page Six that the former couple broke up to have children together; The star of “The Way Back” could not commit to having children with the actress “Knives Out”, who is in her thirties and felt that he was a “business breaker”.
Casey, however, is not worried about De Armas after the lovelessness.
“And I think Ana is just the sweetest, funniest, smartest and most charming person,” she shared. “I don’t think he’ll have a problem meeting anyone else.”
Of course, he will be there to support his brother during his attempt.
“I think it’s a catch in every way. And I’ll be there to bring Ben in, but I don’t think he has any problems [either]”Casey added.” My advice to them would be, ‘Yeah, think about it a lot, because quarantine isn’t fun if you’re single.’
