What Wisconsin coach Greg Gard said about the Ohio state postgame

The Ohio State basketball team went to Madison and took the No. 10 Wisconsin Badgers 74-62 spot. It was a great rebounding win after a game the Buckeyes lost by two to Purdue. One that looked a lot like it should have been in the winning column.

You don’t have to look too far to understand what a huge victory it was. Wisconsin had only lost one game at home entering the competition and had a chance to get the only second-place possession in the Big Ten.

In contrast, the state of Ohio took care of business and remained between the top division of the Big Ten and within arm’s reach of Iowa, Wisconsin, Purdue and Illinois in a battle for second place.

Wisconsin head coach Greg Gard met with the media after the game to discuss what he saw of his team and the Buckeyes. He was quick to give credit to OSU. If you missed any of their comments, we’ve got them here for you thanks to 247Sports Evan Flood’s YouTube channel.

Watch Gard discuss how difficult it is to guard Ohio State, as the Buckeyes quickly began, Seth Towns and more.
