Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has a secret alien arc in a pile of rock

Here I thought the Borderlands games were the only ones that would throw you some great loot when you hit groups of earth and rock, but it turns out that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla also has something to hide in its rock piles. Over the weekend, Valhalla players managed to find a secret bow from Isa repeatedly hitting a fairly modest pile of rocks, but it’s definitely not the way you’re supposed to find it.

In this video, YouTuber “JorRaptor” explains how it all works (thanks, Kotaku). First, you will need Eivor to travel north to Eurvicscire and find the special pile of rock near a lake.

This type of rock piles usually break when it hits them, dropping iron ore. The strangest thing about this, though, is that it doesn’t break. Keep hitting it, save it and reload it, and then hit it even harder, and the mythical bow, Noden’s Arc, will finally appear in your inventory.

It is a weapon made of the Isu, an ancient civilization of the Assassin’s Creed tradition that predates humans. They were basically gods, and also a kind of aliens, so that’s great. The bow is beautiful and bright, here is a nice screenshot made by Reddit user “inxcognito”:

Unfortunately, finding this weapon hitting rocks seems to be a mistake, rather than a feature.

Valhalla’s narrative director “It’s not the right way” to get this bow “it’s a smart brute force trick” Darby McDevitt tweeted. “There is a way‘ in the world ’to achieve this. But I guess that works for Any% Speedrun “.

He adds that the legitimate way to get the bow “involves a few steps that I haven’t seen people try before,” but doesn’t say exactly what those steps are. It’s nice to hear that the game still has some unsolved mysteries a few months after the release, it makes me want to go back inside and do some detective (but it also makes me want to grab the bow in the most shocking way before to get it out). ).

Speaking of ancient civilization, the players of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla also managed to translate the fictional language Isu recently. I wonder what other strange and wonderful secrets these alien gods have hidden.
