MOBILE, Alabama. – The stands at Hancock Whitney Stadium on the southern Alabama campus were filled Tuesday with NFL seekers and staff as Senior Bowl practice week began.
Generally, players in various positions such as the quarterback start slowly on the first day as they develop their time in the new environment. But the skill position prospects started on Tuesday with great gusto, specifically the wide receivers.
I wrote about Dwayne Eskridge, in western Michigan, in my Senior Bowl preview as a player who could become this year’s Senior Bowl “riser” like Terry McLaurin two years ago, and he didn’t disappoint in the first practice.
