The WHO says the Modern vaccine is “not recommended” for pregnant women

WHO officials recommend that pregnant women not receive the Modern COVID-19 vaccine unless they are at high risk for exposure, such as health workers.

The organization did not provide further details on its recommendation against pregnant women receiving the vaccine.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), limited data are available on the safety of COVID-19 vaccines for pregnant women.
