2 Northeast Ohio counties included in week 1 vaccination in school districts

MEDINA COUNTY, Ohio – The state of Ohio released school districts included in the first week of vaccinations against COVID-19.

Only two counties in northeastern Ohio were included in this list.

These counties are Medina and Summit.

It is unknown whether teachers from other districts will be able to be vaccinated.

A total of 91,000 school staff members will be able to start receiving the vaccine.

Vaccines for school staff are scheduled to begin Feb. 1.
