Update no. 1 [Tue 19th Jan, 2021 14:00 GMT]: The Balan Wonderworld demonstration has also been confirmed for the west. It will be released on all platforms, including the Nintendo Switch, on January 28th – the same date as Japan!

True, from January 28, you can try this new platform of 3D platforms at no cost. The demo will allow players to view the first, fourth and sixth chapters of the game, and Nintendo Wire reports that local two-player co-op will also be supported. The news was announced today on social media:
Currently, the demo has only been confirmed for Japan, meaning you will need to set up a Japanese eShop secondary account to download it to your system. Hopefully, the demo will also be launched in the west, but setting up a Japanese account isn’t too much of a problem if you’re interested.
If you need to recover quickly, Balan Wonderworld is a new platform game Sonic the hedgehog creators, Yuji Naka and Naoto Ohshima.
