A storm pouring large amounts of rainfall on the central coast is flooding roads across the region, forcing many to close.
A San Luis Obispo, San Luis Bay Dr. is closed from Highway 101 to Monte Rd. However, some drivers made their way through the rising waters.

Closing began shortly before 8 a.m. Thursday morning.
Just south, the floodwaters also closed the main roads in the Santa Maria-Guadalupe area.
Near Orcutt, Caltrans closed Highway 1 between Solomon Rd. and Black Rd. This closure can last most of the day.
