Windows Insider members have encountered a problem with the latest from Microsoft Windows 10 feature pack, which affects part of the screen clipping utility.

“We are now removing the ability to copy and paste a screen snippet directly to a folder in File Explorer due to a problem discovered by Windows Insiders comments. We hope to re-enable this capability in a future update after we resolve this issue.” . Microsoft said in a blog post.

Typically, Windows 10 users have the ability to copy and paste screenshots directly to a folder on their PC or to another program like Slack. But Microsoft does not know what is causing the problem, so the company has disabled the feature only for Windows Insider users. Windows 10 users who are not enrolled in the program or Insiders who have not yet applied the latest feature pack will not be affected.

The trimming tool, and the new trimmer, are an important part of Windows 10. They are more efficient for taking screenshots and easy to navigate by users. Instead of using the Print Screen on Keyboard key and editing / saving screenshots in a photo editing program, all of this is incorporated directly into the tool. Microsoft will likely find out and fix what happens with this part of the latest version of Windows Insider before releasing updates to regular users.

Microsoft has also made some small changes to the copy-paste feature in window 10 altogether over the past few months. The clipboard, for example, used to store text entries, but now also stores images and HTML content, such as gifs and emojis. There is also an entire GIF section that will show users GIF trends on the Internet and users can also access the clipboard (Windows + V key) via multiple devices by activating Sync between devices feature in the configuration.
