Legends can be played on March 23rd
It’s been … a year! Well, it’s been … about nine months or so, but it feels like a full year.
And in that time, I’ve forgotten about a lot of games that came out vaguely in 2021 or were pushed further. This includes the next one Magic: the encounter thematic dungeon tracking action Magic: legends!
Here, however, Perfect World Entertainment and Wizards of the Coast are here to remind us that it really is something and that it will begin to become a real thing that can be played very soon. The open PC beta will begin on March 23, at which point everyone will be able to try it out; after a previous series of closed alpha tests.
As a reminder, it is described as a “persistent game-free world” game, which is still framed in dungeon trackers, but which also has elements of the card game, such as “decks,” which can be used to influence your spell / skill choices. Then you can take a quick look at this idea.
Eventually, this will also hit the PS4 and Xbox One platforms.
