Fortnite adds an emotional Gangnam-style dance

Fortnite has seen several popular dance moves added over the past few years, so it should come as no surprise that PSY’s Gangnam Style dance is now the latest Emote in the game. Epic Games announced the new addition to Twitter, along with a short video showing how it will look when used in the game. Those who die to make their character dance to the sensation of international pop culture of 2012 can now catch Emote in the game’s item store. Players will have to drop about 500 V-Bucks to catch them for themselves, and they are available right now.

The official Epic Games announcement is in the tweet embedded below.

The reception of the ad has been quite positive on social media, therefore Fortnite as a result, players can wait to see how the Emote was used. Given the great role that dance has played in the game since its inception, the only real surprise is that it took a long time to finally see Gangnam Style come into play. Although the heat surrounding the dance has been reduced somewhat over the years, it remains a staple of weddings, dances and more.

At the very least, the Emote should be a little less controversial than the recent Cyberdyne Health Emote. The officer Fortnite The website erroneously told players that the Emote would be offered along with the recent addition of the T-800 Terminator 2: Judgment Day. The skin is meant to evoke the T-800’s last moments in the film, and many gamers were seemingly disappointed to discover that it wasn’t actually offered next to the skin. As a result, Epic Games announced that it would offer skin reimbursements to those interested. Fortunately, it looks like there won’t be any bad communication this time around.

Fortnite is currently available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. You can check out all of our previous game coverage right here.
