Baby X AE A-XII has just received its first haircut.
The child’s mother, curiously named, pop star Grimes, gave her a fit at home and shared the results on her Instagram Stories on Thursday.
“I’m not sure this haircut went well, but now it’s Viking,” the “Delete Forever” singer stressed a shot of her 8-month-old baby, which she shares with her partner Elon Musk, with a new style mohawk banyera.
The 32-year-old musician also shared a moment of herself breaking her son’s locks with scissors, perhaps taken by Musk, 49. He clarified that the cut was inspired by the historic British television series “The Last Kingdom”.
“A haircut inspired by Netflix’s last realm that is a masterpiece,” he wrote.
Grimes and Musk welcomed their first child in May 2020. The power couple initially named the newborn “X Æ A-12 Musk,” but was forced to change it to “X AE A-XII.” “, as characters and special numbers are prohibited by California law.
Grimes has tweeted before that the X is the “unknown variable” of algebra, while the Æ (now AE) refers to the “elven spelling of Ai (love and / or artificial intelligence)”. The A-12 (now A-XII) was eventually inspired by the Lockheed Archangel-12 aircraft.
How is it pronounced? “I mean it’s just X, the letter X,” Musk told podcast host Joe Rogan. “And then the Æ is pronounced, like ‘Ash’ … and then, A-12, A-12 is my contribution.”
“My partner is the one who actually mostly came up with the name,” the Tesla CEO added. “Yeah, it’s great in names.”
