February Playstation plus the games have been officially announced and honestly it’s a devil. We’ve known for a long time that Destruction AllStars would be the main event of the month for February on PlayStation 5, but there’s more to it than next month’s selection.
Control: Ultimate Edition is also part of the offering, available on both PS5 and PS4, an inclusion we never saw coming. And to top it all off, we have the Concrete Genie crafted with love on PS4. Not bad, eh?
All three games can be downloaded starting Tuesday, February 2nd. Destruction AllStars will be available for two months, until April 5th.
While we don’t have to review Destruction AllStars yet: keep your eyes open for full coverage next week, we recommend Concrete Genie in our 7/10 review:
Concrete Genie is a joyful and warm experience that embraces creativity in a unique way. Painting yourself through Denska is effortlessly fun, and the goblins who help Ash on his adventure are charming. While this main goal of the game is well done, the combat feels like a later thought as it hides in the end. This and a couple of smaller issues hinder the game of greatness, but overall, it’s definitely worth playing, and also as an image.
We haven’t reviewed the PS5 version of Control: Ultimate Edition yet, but we had fun with the original PS4 version in our 7/10 review:
There is no doubt that Control is a good experience, but it is not something that will happen in history books. Her exploratory, combat-focused game is one of the highlights thanks to the skills that give you the chance to be creative, but the frequency of the frequency frame that accompanies it stops enjoyment too often. Sure, it’s worth playing with, but that’s how far any substantial praise can go.
