From 00:00 hours of this 1st. from February, new prices will be applied, in Cuban pesos, for fuels used by self-employed workers, tariffs that respond to the process of monetary and exchange rate reorganization that is taking place in Cuba.
According to information from the official website a CIMEX Corporation Facebook, Resolution No. 425 of 2020, of the Ministry of Finance and Prices, in a special provision unique, establishes to apply the prices of the fuels in force in the year 2020, to the self-employed workers who offer the service of transportation of loads, of passengers in the modality of ‘regular service’, or both services, through the use of magnetic cards.
In advance, under Council of Ministers Agreement 5987 of 2020, they will be subject to the provisions of Resolution 350 of 2020 of the Ministry of Finance and Prices, with regard to wholesale fuel prices.
The fuel may be purchased through the use of magnetic cards by Holders of Transportation Operations License (LOT). According to indications from the National Directorate of the Ministry of Transport, those who use the band cards enabled by Fincimex SA for the purchase of fuel in the service network, must have sufficient liquidity of cash deposited in the their fiscal bank accounts that allow them to make the payment of the fuel authorized to consume to this bank, before concluding the month of January 2021. in this way, they will be able to guarantee the continuity in the provision of services in February 2021.
