It’s no secret that it has been New York City, like many other places in the US have a hard time with covid-19 vaccine distribution. One of the problems is its mess online registration website, which some city officials have denounced “Complex, heavy and buggy.” Officials said this would create an obstacle for many people, especially for the elderly considered a priority group for vaccination.

This is where New York vaccine list goes on sale. Launched in mid-January, it is an easy-to-use website created and managed by volunteers that analyzes and aggregates vaccine appointment data from various locations, such as clinic, pharmacy and other locations. The site then presents the information on a page that shows locations with appointments available for vaccines, locations that do not have appointments for vaccines, and places where the information is out of date.

When you find sites that have vaccine visits, the New York vaccine list includes a registration button, which takes users directly to the location’s website with availability. If it sounds like simple people, it’s because it’s like that, and it’s a breath of fresh air at a time when everything seems harder. The New York vaccine list is also great because you don’t have to click through the endless pages to find what you’re looking for, unlike other websites.

As reported the Virgin, the website addresses one of the biggest challenges of enrolling in online vaccine dating in New York City: fragmentation. The media reports that several entities, including the city, state and hospital groups, are distributing the vaccine and using various registration websites. This means that in order to find an appointment, users have to review several sites, which can be undeniably frustrating.

According to the outlet, software developer And Benamy He experienced this chaos first hand and decided to contact friends and colleagues to try to create a solution. Within days, they had created the New York Vaccine List, which currently lists vaccine appointment data from about 40 locations.

In recent weeks, Benamy said the website has been viewed tens of thousands of times.

“The tools are available to let people do amazing things and we thought that if there was at least one chance we could help, we would,” Benamy told Virgo.

His work on the site is not over, though. Benamy said his top priority is to get more information about vaccine availability and to continue building more tools to get information from other places. For now, he said the site offers information on dating in the greater metropolitan area and on Long Island. Its goal is to provide more information about dating in the surrounding area.

As for helping out in New York City, Benamy said volunteers would love to help out in any way they could. They would also like any source of vaccine availability data that could be added to the New York vaccine list.

What can be taken away here is that while vaccine deployment is undeniably a daunting task, you don’t need to complicate it further by putting mazes online so people can navigate. If volunteers get it, surely New York City and other places can do it too.
