PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) – Tonight: periods of snow. Road conditions are deteriorating. The sleet will mix late. The southern and eastern areas will change to sleet and rain. Low 28. Temperatures rise slowly after midnight.

MONDAY: Cloudy and windy with sleet in the morning that changes quickly in the snow late in the morning. Increasingly heavy and constant during the afternoon. South Jersey and Delaware will see rain and sleet in the morning, possibly returning to the snow in the afternoon. Maximum 34.

Total snowfall: our western end counties can expect 12 to 18 “(mostly north of the PA freeway), the I-95 corridor will likely see 8-12″, South Jersey 4-8 ” and coastal areas 1-4 “(washed away from rain).

TUESDAY: Mostly cloudy and windy with persistent showers and snow showers. Maximum 36. Wind chills in the 1920s.
