Advertising and marketing giant WPP Plc WPP,
has signed an agreement with the TikTok social networking platform that will allow WPP agency customers to quickly access new TikTok advertising products, including augmented reality capabilities, as well as other offerings. TikTok will also partner with influencers on projects for WPP clients. “TikTok has quickly demonstrated the power of mobile video and the many opportunities that exist for brands to participate creatively and meaningfully on its platform,” Mark Read, WPP’s chief executive officer, said in a statement. WPP has previously been associated with TikTok. WPP shares rose 2.2% in trading on Monday before the market, but have fallen 16.4% over the past year. The S&P 500 SPX Index,
has increased by 15.2% over the last twelve months.
