The Wisconsin pharmacist who destroyed hundreds of COVID-91 vaccines believed the doses were microchipped, and is a gun-carrying person who believes the sky is a government shield that hides God, according to a sworn statement from the ‘FBI.
Steven Brandenburg, 46, pleaded guilty last month to leaving some 570 doses of the Modern vaccine unrefrigerated to deliberately spoil them and now has up to 10 years in prison.
Colleagues quickly identified him as the culprit “because of his vocal convictions against the vaccine” he had been expressing “for months at work to anyone who listened,” according to a warrant application. FBI search obtained by The Daily Beast.
Allegedly, Brandenburg told a colleague of Grafton’s Advocate Aurora Health Systems “that he doesn’t believe the coronavirus is real and he believes the vaccine will harm people,” the document said.
“Brandenburg thinks the vaccine is‘ microchipped ’and will disable people’s birth control and make others infertile,” FBI Special Agent Lindsay Schloemer wrote.
The partner who reported him, Sarah Sticker, was alarmed by the 13-year-old pharmacist because “she was very committed to conspiracy theories,” the document said.
“Some of the conspiracy theories that Brandenburg told Sticker include: the earth is flat; the sky is not real, rather it is a shield of government to prevent individuals from seeing God; and Judgment Day is coming, ”the 26-page archive said.
He also once showed her a .45 pistol that kept him at work and told him to “keep it in case the military came to carry it.”
When he was first interviewed by his employer’s investigators, Brandenburg initially stated that he left the vaccine vials by mistake, before admitting it on purpose, according to the document.
“Brandenburg then explained that he believed that the Modern COVID-19 vaccine could harm people and that it was not safe to administer it,” the order stated.
He later emailed the health service, blaming the sleepless nights while he was separated from his children due to a “very contentious divorce.”
“My actions were inexcusable and I deeply apologize for the damage I have caused,” he wrote.
Divorce documents obtained by WISN show that his frightened wife had fled the city and warned that Brandenburg was storing food and weapons in bulk for fear of government-planned attacks.
Brandenburg was later fired and his pharmacist’s license was also suspended. He is due to return to court next Tuesday.
His lawyer, Jason Baltz, did not respond to requests for comment, the Daily Beast said.
