When starting operations the price of the dollar today Monday is up to 20.95 pesos in banks. IMeanwhile, the interbank exchange rate stood at 20.40 pesos per dollar, with a loss of 0.82 percent, according to information from Bloomberg.

Citibanamex sells the dollar at 20.95 pesos, meanwhile BBVA Mexico does so at 20.78, Banorte at 20.60, Santander at 20.41 i Aztec Bank at 19.40 units.

How is the exchange rate going?

The dollar retreated amid a rise in stock markets, while higher-risk currencies such as the pound sterling and the Australian dollar appreciated; the US currency declined against most of its peers, as European and Asian stock markets traded higher after four consecutive days of declines.

The yen slowed a three-day series of losses, advancing against the dollar after hitting its lowest level in two months last week.

Previously, the greenback found support for traders to remain concerned that retail investors who organized online could continue their business to deal with hedge funds, leading to more volatility.

However, investor attention seems to be focusing for now on silver. Cash prices in cash climbed nearly 9 per cent in early quotes in London.

ING strategists said silver advance “stands out” in a relatively weak commodity market for commodities and currencies this week.

The pound benefited by rising 0.3 percent on the day to $ 1.37. The euro was down 0.2 percent to $ 1.21.
