A five-month-old baby in Russia was crushed to death when a man jumped from a building in an apparent suicide attempt and landed in the baby stroller, according to a report Friday.
The strange accident occurred on Thursday when the man rushed from the 17th floor of a building in Voronezh while the mother was pushing her baby down, according to the video of the incident published by Scottish Sun.
Disturbing images from the surveillance camera show the jumper partially landing on the stroller, hitting the baby and taking him out into the street.
The mother, who has not been identified, frantically checked her son when passers-by called for help, while the jumper appeared lifeless on the pavement, according to the report.
Paramedics rushed to revive the baby, but he reportedly died at the scene.
“The 5-month-old baby, who was inside the stroller, died in the ambulance,” a police source said, according to the media.
The policeman added that “the man who fell on him [stroller] he died ”, too.
