A Florida man flirts with a “beautiful” judge during a virtual court hearing

“Judge, You’re So Pretty”: An alleged Florida thief finds that flattery doesn’t get him anywhere while hitting the judge during a virtual court hearing

  • Demetrius Lewis appeared Thursday before Broward County Judge Tabitha Blackmon
  • The accused criminal was impressed by the good looks of the judge and began flirting with her
  • “Judge, it’s so beautiful … I just have to tell you it’s gorgeous,” Lewis rocked
  • His flattery didn’t help much in his court case, with Judge Blackmon ordering Lewis a $ 5,000 bail for an attempted robbery.
  • He previously spent four years in prison for a battery aggravated with a deadly weapon

A Florida man facing a burglary attempt is one of the headlines after flirting with the judge presiding over his case.

Demetrius Lewis appeared before Broward County Judge Tabitha Blackmon for Zoom’s hearing Thursday on charges he tried to break into a Fort Lauderdale home while three children slept inside.

Lewis ’shocking video against Blackmon has gone viral on social media since then, after being viewed more than a million times.

“How do you do it, how do you do it?” Lewis asks in the clip as he appears in the Zoom call.

Then, the accused criminal notices Blackmon on the screen and states, “Judge, she’s very pretty … I just have to tell you she’s beautiful.”

Lewis goes on to praise her, telling Blackmon that he “loves her.”

Blackmon seems a little amused by the remarks, before she replies, “Very well, Mr. Lewis. Flattery will take you everywhere. But maybe not here.

In fact, Lewis’s proclamations of affection did little to impress the judge, who ordered him to retain a $ 5,000 bail.

Lewis has previously spent four years in prison, according to the New York Post.

He was reportedly released in 2019 after serving time for a battery aggravated with a deadly weapon.

Blackmon seemed a little amused by the remarks, but they did little to persuade her. He ordered Lewis to be withheld on $ 5,000 bonds

But while Lewis ’flirtation didn’t allow him freedom, he left social media users amused.

“What do you have to lose right now?” humorously asked a Twitter user below the video, which was shared by WSVN.

“You miss 100% of the shots you don’t make!” he made another joke.

Meanwhile, others agreed with Lewis’ claim that Judge Blackmon was “beautiful.”

“Don’t blame him!” one entered.

Last year, Blackmon was named to Florida County Seventeenth Judicial Circuit by Gov. Ron DeSantis.

She previously worked as a prosecutor for the State Prosecutor’s Office and as a lawyer for the Attorney General’s Office.
