Giannis Antetokounmpo has “no energy or excitement” to take part in the All-Star Game in March

Like Lebron James, Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo is unhappy with the NBA’s decision to hold a All-Star Game in Atlanta next month.

“I want to see my family,” Antetokounmpo said after Friday’s win over the Cleveland Cavaliers. “I have no energy or emotion. But we have to do it,” he added.

Antetokounmpo was anxious to rest in the recess of the season.

On Thursday, James described the league’s decision as “a slap in the face” after the Lakers’ win over the Denver Nuggets.

Collin Sexton, the Cavaliers ’starting owner, feels different.

“I’m definitely excited about that and I hope to be able to be a part of that“Everyone is going to express their opinion, but I would be proud to represent my team, represent the organization and just go out and be part of the All-Star Weekend,” Sexton said.

In the first results of the fan vote, Kevin Durant of Brooklyn is the leader of the vote with 2.3 million, followed by James with just under 2.3 million and Stephen Curry of Golden State with 2.1 million.
