Clubhouse the new social network that everyone talks about …

You’ve probably been watching conversations about the app Social Networks based on voice chat Club house, Because it’s been popping up everywhere lately, but you may have no idea what it is.

The self-proclaimed “direct audio app” is currently in beta mode, which means it requires an invitation to join and is only available to users of iPhoneBut this has not stopped more than 600,000 people from registering since its launch last April. And many of these people are members of the world of events, the marketing and the entrepreneurship.

I chatted with some active users to answer the questions that are popping up right now …

How exactly does it work? Once you receive an invitation from an existing member, you can set up your profile and use a search feature to find people to connect with and clubs that are relevant to your interests. When these people and clubs organize a conversation, basically a virtual panel, you’ll see a notification on their main channel (or “aisle”, as they call it Club house).

Conversations are not recorded, so they are only available in real time, which gives you the feeling of being sticking your head out to a exclusive chat behind the scenes with experts in their field. There are also options to start their own clubs and organize their own recurring conversations, and each member receives a series of invitations for their own friends and colleagues to participate.

Why it serves as networking and should I consider it a network for my profession? In a world where there is currently little social contact, the app has a large and growing community of professionals, who are attracted to the aspects of networking as well as the opportunity to exchange ideas. Several clubs have emerged that focus specifically on event production, virtual events, weddings, marketing strategies, diversity in the industry.

Clubhouse is like a conference 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, you can find dizzying conversations in which people participate, with a style similar to that of a podcast, Round tables, opportunities to make contacts to some, very intelligently, the term has already changed influence for the “moderator” and the ability to use the multiple rooms profitably.

I think Clubhouse is the first social platform that really gets the networks authentic. I love the events for the connections that are created, and those connections are now being made in Clubhouse, it is changing the way we connect, collaborate and consume information. This, to me, is a great opportunity for the event industry to take advantage of.
