Palantir’s shares soar after IBM’s collaboration in AI offerings for businesses

Shares of Palantir Technologies Inc. PLTR,

rose 10.9% in premarket trading on Monday, after big data software company announced a partnership with International Business Machines Corp. IBM,
+ 0.64%
on open applications of artificial intelligence for companies. IBM shares gained 0.9% ahead of the opening. Businesses will use IBM’s hybrid cloud data platform and Palantir’s operations platform to create applications to launch Palantir for IBM Cloud Pak for Data, which will be available in March 2021. Palantir’s stock recovery occurs after falling 3.2% last week four-week earnings streak in which shares rose 49.4%. Shares have risen 146.2% over the past three months to Friday, while IBM shares have gained 6.8% and the S&P 500 SPX,

has advanced 10.8%.
