The trajectory of Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez has been full of glory, So it is not surprising that he has fans outside of Mexico, even among other athletes, so they have him in constant analysis. One of the most recent cases is what happened to the Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighter, Claressa Shields, who expressed her admiration; same as the boxer responded with some advice.
“Great fan of Canelo. I dream of one day being a 4x world division champion like him. I’m close, one more division and I’m here. When you’re great and want to be better, you study other greats, ”posted the also boxer who won the gold medal at the 2012 London Olympics.
What began as a simple show of admiration on the part of Shields, ended up becoming a learning chapter, as Canelo responded on social media to thank the support and give him some advice which will help her improve, especially now that she switched to MMA.
