LAS VEGAS (KTNV) – Clark County licensing officers visited companies in the Las Vegas area before Super Bowl Sunday and three were reportedly receiving infractions.

Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club, Spearmint Rhino and Minks Las Vegas received a 36-hour emergency suspension for violations of Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak’s COVID-19 directives during a routine surveillance inspection.

“We misunderstood a couple of the guidelines and took corrective action to address them,” said Ralph James, general manager of Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club.

James says that since strip clubs and other companies related to the sex industry are expressly banned from opening, they operate as a different type of business.

“Actually, there are no guidelines for clubs, at the moment, we’ve heard about, they’re mostly bar and restaurant guidelines, so we’ve followed bar and tavern guidelines in terms of security protocols,” James added. .

The club claims that it takes the safety of its customers, staff and entertainers very seriously and that it doubles the security measures after the closure related to the inspection.

“The big change is that now the artists will have the best time,” James said.
