Phoebe Bridgers says David Crosby is a “little fool” after the rocker said his SNL tricks crushing the guitar were “pathetic.”
Phoebe Bridgers and David Crosby have different opinions.
The 26-year-old Kyoto singer made noise when she finished her performance on SNL shouting and crushing the guitar on one of the stage monitors, rock stars like Jimi Hendrix and The Clash.
But old-school musician Crosby, 79, wasn’t impressed with his antics, saying the trick was “pathetic” when asked on Twitter Monday about it.
Bridgers responded with an insult and called the co-founder of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young a “little b ****” in a tweet response.

Breaking down! Phoebe Bridgers called 70s rocker David Crosby a “little b ****” after he said his guitar exploded during his SNL performance was “pathetic.”

War of words: Old-school music Crosby, 79, was unimpressed by their jokes, which led to commercial insults
Although he did not respond directly to Phoebe, Crosby explained his position in another tweet several hours later, writing: “Guitars are for playing … making music ….. without fooling them stupidly into a fake monitor for a children’s drama ….
“I don’t really give a flying F if others have done it before,” he told people who noted that many of his contemporaries in the 60s and 70s were eager to destroy their instruments for shows.
“It’s still … STUPID,” he continued.
But Phoebe did not apologize for this trick.
On Monday he shared a moment of the impact moment on his Instagram and wrote, “I got some really great feedback on my performance! Next time I will burn it and it will be more expensive.

I wasn’t impressed: “I really DON’T give an F flying if others have done it before,” he told people who noted that many of his contemporaries in the 60s and 70s were interested in destroying their instruments for shows.

Not even a toy! Although he did not respond directly to Phoebe, Crosby explained his position in another tweet several hours later.
While the I Know The End singer’s grand finale seemed like an impulsive punk rock moment, she admitted that all things were pre-planned with the SNL guide.
After music partner Kathleen Edwards tweeted about how “upset” she was about breaking the monitor, Bridgers revealed, “They made a fake for me to break lol.”
And the guitar was not priceless antiquity, as musician Jason Isbell pointed out in his own tweet.
“It was like an $ 85 guitar that broke, came to respond, and Phoebe added,‘ I told him [guitarmaker] Danelectro was going to do it and they wished me luck and told me they are hard to break. ”
