Tessica Brown undergoes surgery to remove the adhesive

Tessica Brown, the Louisiana woman whose use of Gorilla Glue in her hair made the headlines national headlines, has undergone a surgical procedure in Beverly Hills to remove the offensive rubbish, according to reports.

“The surgery has gone well,” Dr. Michael Obeng, director of MiKO Plastic Surgery, told CBS in Los Angeles. “Tessica is fine. She is awake. The crew is doing their hair. ”

After the four-hour procedure, during which Brown was under mild anesthesia, he drowned when he realized he could run his fingers through his hair again, according to TMZ.

In the TMZ video of the process, Obeng explained that he combined medical grade adhesive remover, aloe vera, olive oil and acetone to break down polyurethane, the main ingredient in Super Glue.

“Gorilla Glue Hair Girl,” Tessica Brown is thrilled when she arrives in Los Angeles for surgery after her unfortunate mixture with the sticky substance and her usual hair product.

Later, Brown is seen looking in the mirror as he looks at his newly released hair.

The surgeon had contacted the desperate five-year-old mother, who called for help in a TikTok video that went viral and offered her chemical treatment for free. It would normally cost more than $ 12,000.

“When I learned that this was a reality, one can only feel compassion and sympathy for Tessica,” Obeng told LA television on Tuesday. “The procedure will be to dissolve the polyurethane, which is what Gorilla Glue does.”

Prior to Wednesday’s procedure, Brown and his sister used the Goof Off product to soften the tail enough to remove its ponytail, according to TMZ.

He told the store that he had been preparing to wear wigs for the rest of his life, but was relieved that he didn’t need them for long after Obeng’s work.

Brown said in a previous interview that he had never intended his ordeal to gain so much attention.

“I would never take it to social media. The reason I took it to social media was because I didn’t know what else to do, ”he told ET.

“And I know someone around could have said something to me. I didn’t think for a second when I woke up the next morning that I would go everywhere, ”he added.
