Tottenham Hotspur coach Jose Mourinho criticized Gareth Bale for assuring via Instagram on Tuesday that he was physically ready to play, although he was then unable to face Everton due to a muscle problem.
The Welshman posted a photo last Tuesday, in which he wrote that it had been a good training session, but before that, on Monday, he had asked for a scanner for a nuisance and after that training session he still felt uncomfortable.
The scanner showed no injuries, but Bale was not part of the team that fell to Everton in the FA Cup round of 16.
