The world of NFL I had just understood how at 43 years old Tom Brady continues to the top after winning his seventh super Bowl when another news came out about the quarterback of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers which caused a great stir: the quarterback must be operated on.
In the first instance, Rick Strouds, of The Tampa Bay Times newspaper, reported on the surgery to be performed on Brady’s left knee. Then came the confirmation of Bruce Arians, head coach of the Buccaneers, to the same media claiming that it would be a minor operation: “He’s going to do a little cleaning.”
So far, all normal, but a new version has arrived about the complexity of the surgery that will be performed on Tom Brady. Sources told Ben Volin of the Boston Globe that the quarterback’s operation isn’t just a clean-up on his left knee and for this reason, the legend of the QB grows because even with this annoyance he defeated no one else and no one less than Patrick Muhammad in the Super Bowl LV.
According to information from Volin, Brady needs more than a little cleaning on his left knee so surgery on Tom would be more complex than they claim in the Buccaneers. Ben even quoted his source to support the post: “When everything is made known, what it does is build its legend even bigger.”
Tom Brady’s numbers in the 2020 NFL
Despite dragging a discomfort in his left knee, Tom Brady had big numbers in the 2020 NFL season: 4,633 yards, 40 touchdown passes and 12 interceptions in the regular campaign. While in the Playoffs he closed with gold brooch on the sum 1,061 yards, 10 touchdowns, 3 interceptions and, most importantly, the Vince Lombardi trophy of the Super Bowl LV.
