The next DLC character from Super Smash Bros. Ultimate could be a fan favorite

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s the next character in the DLC could be a fan favorite, or at least that’s what a somewhat compelling fan theory suggests. If you ask for one Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Nintendo Switch player and Nintendo Switch Lite, which character they want to see added to the platform fighter, there are many chances to hear names like Sora, Geno, Waluigi, Lloyd, Master Chief, Doomguy, Jonesy and Crash Bandicoot, who, apart from perhaps Sora, is the most sought after DLC character. That said, according to a new theory, the old PlayStation icon will hit the next game.

The theory begins with the announcement that Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s time will arrive on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite (and other platforms) next month on March 12th. From here, the theory merges with the long “Amiibo theory,” a consolidated one Super Smash Bros. Ultimate DLC theory.

According to Amiibo’s theory, at least for now, the next fighter will be out in late March, as the next wave of amiibo is expected to be released later this month. In other words, the Amiibo theory and the launch of Crash 4 in Switch and Switch Lite it seems to line up too well, at least for some Nintendo fans.

Still, the theory doesn’t end there. It also exhausts an old leak from Activision, which took note of plans to revive Crash Bandicoot. And the limit to that was to carry Shock a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Making this part even more interesting is a new report that states that Activision can be done with the franchise a bit. Again, the timing of this, the Activision leak, and everything above is certainly interesting.

That said, right now, this is just a theory. In addition, while it is a compelling case, there are many others as well Super Smash Bros. Ultimate theories over the years, almost all of which did not come true. In other words, grab it all with a grain of salt.
