Oscar-winning actress Shirley MacLaine enjoyed a classic Martini with lunch while having dinner on Friday at Malibu’s Kristy’s Village Cafe.

As he perfumed the glamor of old Hollywood with the drink he chose, the 86-year-old star took the time to grab the cocktail while talking to his assistant.

MacLaine’s departure to the beachfront restaurant comes just weeks after Los Angeles reopened outdoors amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

While enjoying the warm weather, MacLaine wore a light green sweater, a pair of oversized black shades, and a white visor, which read, “Malibu.”

The former protagonist, who won five Golden Globe awards throughout her legendary career, completed her dress with brown loafers.

In November, she credited the longevity of her career of more than six decades in her discipline, stemming from her children’s ballet training.

Even though I tell people the truth, I’m not a diva. That comes from my three-year ballet training, ”she told Variety.

MacLaine continued, “I have to go through all of this and work hard and honestly, with enough art, if it can be used, thrown in. I’ve also stayed in business and never thought about quitting because I wanted to pay for the tickets. ‘plane to travel.

“I wouldn’t eat a meal without me. I gained £ 25 in that movie and got a call from Frank Freeman, who was Paramount’s boss at the time, and he said, ‘Do we have to break the contract?’ MacLaine (born MacLean Beaty).

‘We were talking, he was telling me stories and he was becoming cynically very sophisticated. And it would seem funny to me, and he would be glad I got it … I was only 18 years old. He was happy to be in her company because he was so much fun and loved to test everyone’s receptivity to his cynicism. Now I realize.

And while Noelle’s actress called Jack Lemmon a “great friend” she “adored,” she wasn’t so excited to work with her two-time director Billy Wilder (The Apartment, Irma la Douce).

“I liked it, but I wouldn’t put it at the forefront of women’s liberation,” Shirley quipped.

MacLaine was known as the only female Rat Packer, calling Dean Martin “spontaneously funny” and Frank Sinatra “talented.”

“He was born with it, but he was lonely as a kid and went to music as a best friend,” Warren Beatty’s older sister said about Sinatra.

The Emmy winner also revealed that she had three films in a row, including People Are Not Places by Brad Furman and The Granite Men by Armand Kachigian, which were suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Shirley recently appeared on one of three episodes of the Road Trip Elegies: Montreal to New York, Grammy Award nominee Rufus Wainwright, which was released three months ago on Audible.

MacLaine lives on a ranch in Santa Fe, New Mexico, with her three terriers, but is far from her daughter Sachi, 64, who wrote a 2013 bite titled Lucky Me.
