Distribution of COVID-19 vaccines
Pennsylvania hospitals began receiving shipments of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine the week of December 14th and the COVID-19 Modern vaccine the week of December 21st.
Officials point out that this includes the administration of vaccines through CVS as part of the Federal Pharmacy Association.
Pennsylvania vaccination numbers do not include Philadelphia, which is its own jurisdiction, or federal facilities, which work directly with the federal government.
