The Nintendo Switch has become one of the accessible platforms for standalone versions. Almost all of the major independent games released today seem to target Nintendo’s handheld hybrid console, which makes sense given the degree of sales of so many such titles on the platform. However, if you don’t like playing indies on the Nintendo platform, it has been announced that one of the most anticipated upcoming releases in space will arrive elsewhere.
Recently revealed, Virgin Axiom 2 it will now come to PC. Previously, the next game Metrdoivania, which was announced in 2019, was only expected to hit Nintendo Switch. Although the game does not yet have a specific release date, Thomas Happ, the game’s developer, confirmed that an exclusive PC version for Epic Games Store is also on the cards this year.
While Virgin Axiom 2 it will no longer be entirely exclusive to Switch, it is still exclusive to the console. Or, for now, at least.
