Warzone Teases makes zombie players excited

Not long after a report appeared earlier in the week on the arrival of an open world Zombie mode Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, new game Named of Duty: Warzone teasers began and appear to be triggering an event involving both zombies and nuclear weapons. Part of these teasers was a zombie testing machine that was randomly populated inside the hospital. And now, another one has appeared in the stadium, although right now both only appear in Rumble.

As you know, machines do nothing, but at the surface level, they seem to cause zombies to reach War zone. That said, because they only appear in Rumble, COD fans are theorizing that the aforementioned open world mode Zombies, called Outbreak, will replace Rumble. In other words, normal War zone will remain normal War zone, but there will also be a mode that combines the experience with the experience of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Zombies.

Right now, this last bit is just a theory, but it’s the only explanation that has come up so far that makes sense. What’s also interesting is that this new machine doesn’t have the same useless button that the Hospital machine did, but it does have the same cryptic numbers.

At the time of posting, it’s unclear what’s going on, but it’s obvious that Treyarch and Raven Software are teasing each other, and with season 2 increasingly imminent, it’s safe to assume only at the beginning of the teasing.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available for free across PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PC. For more coverage on the actual battle game and all things COD, click here.
