Olancho, Honduras.- Two women were found drowned this Sunday afternoon in the Guayape river of Olancho. The bodies were taken from the area known as the “La Canoa” gorge.
The victims were identified, preliminarily, as Maritza Mejía, 29, and Rosi Castro, 20.

Apparently the women got into the depths of the river where they had arrived hours earlier to enjoy with some members of their family.
“You need your baby girl, my love. There’s God, what are we going to do Deuet, help me!”, Shouted one of the relatives of the victims about one of the bodies.
The two women wore shorts and casual shirts. People in the industry did not confirm whether the women lived in the area.
