We haven’t heard much about Pokémon Unite since it was first announced for Switch and Mobile last June, but The Pokémon Company has shared a quick development update.
Progress has been made since last summer’s revelation as expected, although there is still work to be done. “More playable Pokémon have been added, changes and additions have been made to the game, images have been improved and more,” says The Pokémon Company. “That said, much remains to be done to ensure the best possible experience.”
To achieve this goal, the development team is asking fans to participate in a regional beta test. This test, limited to Canada only, will take place in March and will give players the first chance to go into practice with the game, although the beta test will be limited to Android devices.
If you’d like to participate, you can sign up on the Pokémon Unite Google Play Store page. Be sure to meet the requirements listed below.
Eligibility details:
– The UNITE regional Pokémon beta test is only open to Canadian residents.
– Players must be at least 16 years old to participate.
– Game progress will be restored when the beta version ends.
– Real-time capture or playback of games is not allowed during the regional beta test.
Earlier today, the last thing we heard about the title was some screenshots released in August and a leak earlier this year that suggested you could dress up your Pokémon in quirky costumes.
