Originally released in May 2020, the free-to-play MMO from Amazon Game Studios New World fell in August 2020 and then in the spring of 2021. According to the developer last update, the game will now be released on August 31, 2021, with a closed beta version starting July 20th.
The last delay for the relatively expected Amazon game game study a bit problematic, according to the update, is to give developers more time to implement and polish the new features of the final game, while ensuring that all moving parts work properly. New World game director Scot Lane offered a similar explanation for the delay in a video posted on YouTube.
I haven’t played any New Worldalpha events, however, as an MMO fan, I’m looking forward to delving into this strange fictional interpretation of American colonization. Here we hope that this final delay is really final.
