Where are COVID-19 vaccines left over in San Diego County? – NBC 7 San Diego

Although the COVID-19 vaccine is scarce in San Diego County, occasional scheduling problems, missed consultations, and other factors leave several doses available at some vaccination sites.

NBC 7 will provide updates on the latest surplus quotes here. This story will be updated when the latest information is available. Keep checking the details.

Available vaccines:

February 16th: Sharp HealthCare has opened 2,000 time slots at its county vaccine stations. Appointments are available for San Diego County residents 65 years of age or older and for health care workers. Locations include: Grossmont Center Super Vaccination Station, Chula Vista Super Vaccination Station and a community site in Coronado. Find out the times and availability of each location here.

February 15th: San Diego Fire-Rescue says appointments are available this week at two of its vaccination sites. Those over the age of 65 can schedule appointments Tuesday through Thursday through the SDFD portal here. On Tuesday, SDFD said they could extend the appointments to Friday as well, if there is still availability.

When you finally get the COVID-19 vaccine, you may be tempted to celebrate by posting a photo of your vaccine card on social media. Resist this desire. LX host Nik Z spoke with Sandra Guile of the International Association of Best Business Offices about how this could make you vulnerable to identity theft and other scams.
