The plastic surgeon who released the locks on Tessica Brown’s “Gorilla Glue girl” hopes her “magic solution” can pick up strength and is “in talks” to make it commercially available.
Dr. Michael Obeng, 47, told TMZ that surgery requests at his Beverly Hills business have seen a “hundred-fold increase” since he saved Louisiana’s mother’s hair, which had been trapped for over a month when he used Gorilla Glue after sticking to his usual spray.
They have also contacted him with companies hoping to produce the secret formula he crafted to remove the strong content.
“We’ve had a lot of inquiries,” he said of his “magic solution.”
“We’re in talks … to make commercials and make it available to people who have had Crazy Glue, Gorilla Glue or any kind of adhesive glue that doesn’t dissolve easily,” he told the network.
Even if those plans don’t stick, Obeng said the business is soaring because of his usual surgical work.
“We’ve had over 5,000 patient consultations in the last four days … we’re not even equipped to pass so many people,” he said.
He’s not the only one hoping to take advantage of such a sticky situation.
Five-year-old mother Brown, 40, already has her own line of merchandise and has hired a celebrity management team to help her get the most out of her viral infamy.
His original TikTok clip about his hair disaster, in which he admitted that using glue was “bad, bad, bad idea ”- had been seen more than 36 million times on Wednesday.
